This is a current representation of my worldview - the set of all my views on the world (i.e., existence). Since there are probably too many of these views to share fully and accurately here, this should be taken as more of a summary of the most important, foundational views that permeate all other views.
It's very messy right now (and probably will be for a while). Hopefully will refine with more time and thought.
Everything discussed here is in the context of implicit skepticism. That is, although I may make statements as though I consider them fact (without qualifying them with “I think”, “I believe”, etc.), they should automatically be considered as statements of belief. So, within any non-qualified statement, I (implicitly) acknowledge the possibility of its non-truth - I just omit the explicit qualification to increase fluidity and concision.
I also want to acknowledge the imprecision of this attempted worldview overview; there will be a lot of repetition, redundancy, circularity and tautological use of language (just as in this sentence). That’s mostly because I don’t have solid evidence/justification for any of my worldview beyond the fact that I find it to be the best lens through which to make sense of the world I’ve discovered/created so far. So, rather than attempting to accurately describe reality, it’s more an attempt to develop the language and concepts with which I use to describe and understand the world, and familiarise any inputting minds with these to make subsequent processing of my other outputs easier.
Nebula:
- U is the union of everything in existence.
- The Object is another term for U (basically, refers to everything in existence).
- An object is a thing that exists (a subset of U or The Object).
- So, The Object is the aggregation/integration of all objects.
- A subject is an object with the capacity for subjective experience (i.e., a conscious object? I have not yet resolved the question of whether consciousness implies/necessitates subjective experience).
- The Subject is the aggregation/integration of all subjects.
- The Subject (S) is a subset of The Object (O): . This may or may not be a proper subset.
- If consciousness pervades everything:
- If only some (not all) objects are considered conscious:
- God is U. God is also any conscious subset of U - e.g., you. Me. A tree?
- Self (or The Self) is another word for God/U/The Subject.
- The Objective
- The Objective is the thing I centre my life around. It is a compact representation of everything I stand for, everything I value, everything I deem good and meaningful and important in this life (and every life). It is a direction I aim to direct all of my thoughts, actions, and general energies towards. It can be condensed to the statement:
- The pursuit of the full freedom and flourishing of all.
- It could also be considered as self-realisation (= Self-realisation)
- It is aiming for the state at which we all, as individual selves, realise our “self” - that is, realise who we truly are. On a mental/philosophical/spiritual level, “realising” means arriving at some kind of understanding of your role in the wider universe, and understanding that you are the universe, experiencing itself. On a more material, tangible level, “realising” means to make real all that you want (soul desires) and all that you are (that is, all you can and want to be) - actualising your potential. This is akin to the “self-actualisation” presented in e.g. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. And if, hypothetically, all beings were to “realise their self” then, this would equate to Self-realisation, which is the ultimate, pinnacle goal of this universe - the purpose of existence.
- Basically, you realise your “self” which involves (1) realising all that you are - your purpose, manifest as soul desires - as an individual self, (2) living according to this purpose, driven by soul desires, to make your potentiality into reality, and (3) realising that you are actually Self (as well as your-self) and that all of this - your life, my life, our existence - is one huge collaboration within and between the universe, on behalf of the universe.
- perception is beyond-mind acclimatisation to reality. conception is what your mind makes of what you perceive.
- Perception happens through the senses (including beyond obvious “5 senses”). Conception happens when the perceptions are processed by the mind.
- Truth is anything and everything that could be considered objectively true, beyond subjective truth.
- To Know is to know Truth - that is, to perceive/conceive Truth (or some subset of it).
- Truth = roots (of reality)
- True (full) Knowing is only possible through perception, because when the mind assigns meaning to the perception (i.e., conceives)
- Only first-order knowing of Truth is possible.
- You can Know, but you cannot Know that you Know.
- This is a fundamental truth/aspect of being a subject - it is impossible to “prove” the existence of an objective truth beyond what is possible to establish within a subjective framework (i.e., shared conception of “objective” reality).
- However, although we may never be able to communicate Truth to others, we can still know it as individuals. And if we do happen to stumble upon Truth in our own perceptions/conceptions, there is no way we can know this. This is exactly why we should never stop searching for Truth - never ossify our beliefs - never decide that our worldview is “complete” - always strive to improve our ever-flawed but (hopefully) ever-improving views of reality - always seek convergence (and accepting absolute convergence is an impossibility in this material realm). This is root-finding.
- DIKW
- Though technically, according to my worldview, it doesn’t make sense to “input information” because inputting is only possible at the data level of DIKW, I will still sometimes use “information” in this (non-worldview-compatible) way by saying things like “update beliefs based on new information” purely because its a relatively convergent way of using the word and most minds would probably find it easier to process than if I use “data” instead. dc
Unresolved
These are some things I’m still mulling over and trying to (sufficiently) converge on roots for.
- Is S a proper subset of O? Or, S = O?
- If S = O, we have complete “panpsychism” - consciousness is everything, a fundamental, all-creating substance of the universe.
- Otherwise, “consciousness” is some special property that only a (probably small, relative to everything in existence) subset of objects possess. dc

For any of the below personal conventions, I’m not 100% certain on “normal” (interpersonal/transpersonal) conventions, but I stick with these because they make most sense to me.

This is some stuff I was writing to try to delineate my worldview just prior to psychosis. Not sure how understandable/decipherable it is to a general individual, but here it is:
For now, all words with subjective definitions will be prefaced with (subjective).
Everything begins and ends with existence.
An object is a thing that exists.
A subject is an object which has the capacity for subjective experience. An experience is a collection of experiences (i.e., the definition of ‘experience’ is recursive/circular/self-referential). Perception is a subset of experience; all perception is experienced, but not all experience is perception. Experience which is not perception is misperception. Therefore, experience can be either perception or misperception. Perception encompasses misperception (a momentary perceiver can perceive misperception, but a momentary misperceiver cannot perceive perception - if it could, it would be a perceiver).
Every subject has/is a mind. Mind is the integration of all minds.
The (subjective) tangibility of an object’s existence depends on its position in reality. Reality ranges from ideality (least tangible) to physicality (most tangible). Ideality is what does not yet exist. Materiality is everything that exists. Past materiality is everything that existed in the past, up to the present. Materiality (or, more precisely, present materiality) is everything that exists in the current moment (from the Subject’s perspective). Ideality is potential or future materiality. Internal materiality is everything that exists only within the minds. External materiality (physicality) is non-internal materiality, and includes every object which exists outside/independently of minds.
Mind is where ideality meets materiality - Mind allows materialisation, or, realisation (recognition and actualisation).

Humans are subjects. Being human is an experience. Every experience a given human has is a specific manifestation/microcosm of the general human experience. The general human experience is a specific manifestation of the general subjective experience - i.e., the macrocosmic experience of all subjects in existence: the Subject’s experience. The Subject’s experience is a manifestation of objective experience: the Object’s experience. The Object’s experience is existence itself. The Subject is the Object’s means of experiencing itself (i.e., the relation between Subject and Object is how existence experiences itself).
In other words, existence is a collection of experiences. Within this set is the set of experiences representing ‘the human experience’. Within this set is the set of experiences representing any given human’s experience of life. E2
The Object is the set of all objects. The Object = existence. One object (one subset of the Object) is the set of all views on the Object - this is the Worldview. Each subject has a worldview, which is its current understanding of the Object. All new understandings are cultivated through this worldview. A worldview is a set of views. A view is an understanding of an object (one part of existence). Subjects’ can improve the accuracy of their views (and worldviews) by triangulating from them, integrating different views from which to view objects, and hence, the Object. This triangulation/integration process, along with integrating worldviews, will also integrate the subjects themselves. The culmination of this process is the realisation of the Subject, the integrated set of all subjects.
In order to effectively triangulate, subjects must first overlap their views - they must integrate each others’ views.
An integral worldview is one which contains many views of each object. It can compare and contrast these many views to synthesise them into a more Truthful view. Full worldview integration is currently impossible, but view integration is possible.

- Could a cell experience a life? If so, the set representing an individual human’s experience of life would also contain sets representing each cell’s experience of life, and each other subject within the human (e.g. bacteria, atoms within cells, mitochondria, subatomic particles, etc.). Does the subject end at the human macro level? Or do there also exist micro subjects (within the macro-context of a human subject)?
- Is an electron a subject? A quark? Anti-matter? Is anti-matter capable of subjective experience?
