It’s useful to develop a framework in which to conceptualise collective intelligence. Key objects in this framework are:

  • Object (a thing)
  • Thought
  • Mind (thinker)
  • Worldview
    • Composed of views

Ultimately everything can be considered/conceived of as an object.

Every mind has a worldview in which it assimilates thought as it experiences (accumulates data in the form of life experience and exposure, which it transmutes into intelligence in form of information/knowledge/wisdom, using its intelligence).

Perception & Conception

A mind perceives to conceive, and conceives to perceive. Perception is mediated by conception, and vice versa.

Pure perception is only possible from beyond-mind states (states of pure being).

Beyond a certain age (or more accurately, cognitive development threshold), a worldview starts to concretise (take form, shape) - i.e. conception begins - and then, all perception is mediated through this. So, initially, perception is the primary mode of thought ? and then gradually, the scale tips toward conception until it is the primary mode of thought (dominating perception) and the scale-tipping can only be reversed if the being becomes only a being (not a mind, relinquishes mentalisation). When not in the state of pure being (as we perhaps are when first entering the world), we can only perceive through what we conceive. And what we conceive is derived from our worldview, which can be thought of as the container (aggregation/integration) of all our conception.

An equivalent term for conception is view. Each view pertains to a particular object, which is just anything that is (or could be) conceived to exist. It only makes sense to think of objects other than Object (the aggregation/integration of all objects) as conceptions (not perceptions) because only observers (i.e. minds) are able to conceive of boundaries within Object that delineate non-Object objects. That is, for objects to be perceived, they must be conceived - they require being with/through a mind.
