Sometimes, I look inside my mind And what I see amuses me: Simple thoughts, little ideas And the clarity, I find refreshing. If only everything was this sweet always, within My mind
Other times, I look inside my mind And I see things that I never knew were there: Parasites lurking in the crevices of consciousness, Awaiting acknowledgement. They notice when I notice them, And prey on my awareness, Assaulting my thoughts, And tearing my soul And I want you to understand the pain, the agony, The spiral of torment that ensues such thoughts. But ultimately, only I can see The brutal battle field, that is My mind
The way out is simple, theoretically Body is vessel Vessel is life And the idea haunts and taunts, Forever embedded in the fragile depths of empty chaos that is My mind
