I’ve already taken to using “stream” to represent a “stream of consciousness” - a continuous, contiguous ? series of thoughts occurring serially, without any consideration of where those thoughts fit in broader worldview / mindscape.
I want a word to represent a more parallel cross-cut ? through the serial stream, to be able to categorise/group related thoughts. Currently, I’m thinking either “strand” or “current”. I like “current” because of the water relation (like stream) but I’m not sure if it fits.
